I vote for candidates who support policies for working families:
- more accessible and affordable Family Medical Leave
- guaranteeing workers a minimum of 7 paid sick days
- more consideration of family care in the reauthorization of Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) and in state unemployment insurance programs
- affordable child care, education and training for low-wage families --so that noone has to choose between being a good family member and a good employee
