9to5 Opposes the Balanced Budget Amendment

Over 270 national organizations, including 9to5, have signed onto a letter opposing the Balanced Budget Amendment (BBA). The BBA would hurt working families, the unemployed, and especially women and children by forcing cuts to services to those who need them most in these hard economic times.

The letter has been sent to Congress and the House will be voting on the BBA (HJRes2) late today or Friday and we’ll keep everyone updated on the status.
