Rhonda Willette, Milwaukee Organizer, has 15 years of organizing experience as a seasoned second generation women’s rights organizer with a commitment to social justice and social change. She has worked for several non-profits in the Milwaukee area. She brings a strong dedication to improve the quality of life for individuals, and families in her community. She is passionate about the work, and effectively connects movement with community-based organizations, churches, and residents. Rhonda came to 9to5 in September 2008 as a Get Out The Vote Canvasser and Community Organizer; she was strategically instrumental to our success in the Paid Sick Days Ordinance win. She has completed two years of school for Human Services, Certified in Community Organizing and Leadership Development from Midwest Academy, Chicago, IL and has received a Certificate in Community Development UWM-Milwaukee Extension. She is a working mother of eight and with seven daughters. She is committed to social economic justice for women. She is of African American descent. MWK Chapter
