 Empowerment Swap Day is sponsored by Sojourner Family Peace Center. 9to5 members will be participating and distributing information at this event.

Come join the fun and know your rights as a renter/homeowner!

This is a free event with donation of one unused personal hygiene item per person. All donated
items at the door will be given to the Sojourner Truth House shelter for women and children.
Swap check‐in between 9:30 and 10 a.m. Please contact Jolynn at (414) 276‐1911, ext. 25 for info.
Come take part in a Women’s Empowerment Swap Day!

• Empower yourself with home maintenance and money‐saving do‐it‐yourself tips and tricks.
• Learn your rights as a renter/homeowner, and ways to protect and enhance your assets.
• Attend workshops on how to make your house into a home with safety tips, furniture
upholstery methods, garden/compost information, and weatherization/energy advice.
• Join in on the SWAP! Bring up to ten un‐used household items (see list below) to swap
with other attendees. At check‐in items will be appraised and given points which can be
used for “new” items that others have brought to swap.
