This is what California would look like if the Governor got his way…

Are you currently a participant on CalWorrks? Are you currently receiving SSI or Medi-Cali? Do you have children in childcare or grade school? Do you or a family member receive In Home Supportive Services (IHSS)? Are you currently a college student?   Millions of Californians depend on these programs to help them survive. With the life-threatening cuts or elimination of these programs, millions will suffer, especially women and families, children, disabled, and students. 9to5 along with hundred of community members were gathered on June 15th 2010, to illustrate the life-threatening and deadly consequences of passing the Governor’s newest budget proposal.
