Here is an opportunity to develop your leadership skills and create change in the community!

  • Participate in skill-based training
  • Learn how to use the internet and other tools for social activism
  • Learn about the history of Georgia's work place standards, the states current workplace policies standards, and the current political climate
  • Engage in fun outreach activities designed to mobilze voters to win laws that protect working families
  • View social justice films about workplace standards and conditions and enage in dialogue to help frame the debate 
  • Help win family-friendly policies such as PAID FAMILY LEAVE!   

Meetings are every other month.  You'll also spend plenty of time in the community doing hands on organizing such as presenting our issues to community groups, facilitating workshops, coordinating fundraising events, tabling and registering voters.  ORGANIZE FOR POLICIES THAT RESPECT WORKING FAMILIES AND SUPPORT WORK/FAMILY FLEXIBILITY!
