MLK March in Atlanta is the first and original MLK March. The March is held on Auburn Avenue from Peachtree Street to Jackson Street The Rally is held on Auburn Avenue in the King National Park Area. The theme of the week of activities is Preparing the 2nd Movement. Other areas of concern are education, technology, medical, investment, transportation, housing environmental justice, job creation, conflict resolution, interfaith, cultural exchange, peace, justice, and voter registration.

Atlanta 9to5 members have the option of meeting at the office at 9:15 to view 2 short videos, one featuring Dr. King and another featuring Kim Bobo discussing economic justice and wage theft. A very brief discussion reacting to the videos will happen after viewing them. Then members will gather signs and literature to distribute during the march about wage theft and 9to5's Fair Eats Campaign.

We will divide up and carpool to the site of the rally between 10- 10:15.
