9to5, National Association of Working Women seeks an experienced 3/4-time organizer based in Los Angeles to help build a statewide campaign for paid sick days for all Californians.   9to5 is a grassroots membership organization, founded in 1973, which strengthens women’s ability to work for economic justice.  Our goals are to build leadership among low wage working women and to win improvements in workplace and public policy.  We are playing a leadership role in current campaigns focused on paid sick days, expanding family leave, increasing the minimum wage and protecting affirmative action programs. This position is anticipated to last for one year, contingent on continued funding.
